The Girl Who Believes In Miracles
A beautiful story about a girl's beliefs in miracles for healing for animals and people (which happens today too). Jesus's miracle working power through her changes and renews minds bringing a whole community together in faith!
My daughter and I watched this one. We've seen it many times now. The beginning of it may turn you off to the film, but it gets better so hang in there.

Once I Was a Beehive
This is one of my daughter's favorites. The girl in this one loses a family member and it's suggested she go to camp with a friend, her camping experience changes her views on God. I loved how the camp in the film didn't push her but rather let her open up when she was ready to.

The Adventures of Snow White and Rose Red
This was an interesting film, my daughter really liked it. I really liked it because of the language being used, a lot of the scenes were about love very uplifting.

Puss in Boots with Christopher Walken
Wonderful references in this movie, I was watching it with my daughter and I remembered I had seen it before when I was a kid. Recommend.

These movies were watched with an 8yo and a 12yo so with those with younger children, you make the choice of course.

Tall Girl, although not intended as a Christian film it is a story of one young woman's understanding of just how truly special she really is, and she really does have a place in her school and amongst her classmates. Watched it with my daughter age 9, at the time.

These are high school aged children so there are those types of themes in it, like dating and boyfriends, and kissing. The message is a good one.

Journey to Bethlehem

Watched this and really liked it! My kids and I didn't watch this together when I did but it is good for kids! It's got music, comedy, and it's not fully a musical for those who saw the previews. There is both music and talking.

The Psalm Project: This is a beautiful film, with scenes and Psalms, a different narrator at each scene as they read the words aloud from Psalm 1 up to Psalm 19, there are many more Psalms of course. They may be planning to go through all the Psalms. Side Note: I watched this, my kids didn't watch it with me. But I really liked it, it was very refreshing to listen to the Psalms.

The Young David Series on Angel Studios

I really enjoy these shows about Young David. I've watched them with my 9yo daughter and she likes them too. Very uplifting and cheerful! They are currently still making the film about David, and are raising funds for that. Also enjoyed the reviews from the families, kids were very neat to watch. The Young David series can be found on the Angel Studios app, and website.
